With the Marketing Module you can create a Template, Audience List, and a Campaign.  The Campaign can be either a Drip Email Campaign or a Blast Email Campaign.

Definition:  Drip Email Campaign is a series of emails sent where the timing of each email is based on the launch date of the Campaign (i.e. the first email is sent on the Launch Date) and there are a defined number of days before subsequent emails are sent.  For example, if 3 emails are to be sent the first will go out of the launch date, the second 3 days later and the last 5 days after the launch date.  Drip Campaigns may contain any number of emails and be sent based on a schedule of days since the first email was sent.

Definition: A Blast Email Campaign may also be a series of emails where the first send date is a calendar date.  Subsequent emails are also sent based on a calendar date.  Contacts can be selected for inclusion in the Blast Campaign, but they will only receive those emails yet to be sent based on the calendar schedule.

Drip Email Campaigns may be assigned directly to a Contact or you may setup a Rule that defines the Contacts to whom the Drip Email Campaign is attached.
